We are seeking a professional, dependable and team oriented administrative assistant to support the sales team for the hotel. The administrative assistant provides broad support: creating and tracking contracts, handling calls, emails and fax inquiries, expense reports, special projects, ensuring organization and coordination of files, information, oversight of office supply inventory and other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

The position is full time, primarily Monday through Friday with additional hours at times requested. Schedule may at times include weekends and holidays, flexibility may be required to meet the demands of the business.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

At least two years in a similar position

Strong computer literacy, proficient in spreadsheet applications and word processing

Possesses and displays strong customer service skills

Strong administrative and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize

Professionalism, ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere

Proven ability to work without supervision

Friendly, team oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The following knowledge, skills and abilities are preferred:

Knowledge of hotel systems including Delphi, Opera or similar property management skills

Basic knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP

Experience working in a full service hotel
